Abstract
What are disclosed are monoalkylfluorotin compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is alkyl having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, X taken alone is fluorine or carboxylate, Y taken alone is chlorine, carboxylate, or ##STR2## or wherein X and Y, taken together, are oxygen, and methods for making said compounds from alkanestannonic acids.

A monoalkylfluorotin compound of the formula ##STR7## wherein R is alkyl having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, X taken alone is fluorine or carboxylate, Y taken alone is chlorine, carboxylate, ##STR8## or wherein X and Y, taken together, are oxygen.
