Abstract
An iron-base alloy having high erosion resistance to molten zinc attack which essentially consists of (by weight): 0.01 to 2% of carbon; 0.01 to 2% of silicon; 0.01 to 2% of manganese; totally 1 to 6% of at least one element selected from the group consisting of niobium and tantalum; totally 1 to 10% of at least one element selected from the group consisting of molybdenum and tungsten; 10 to 30% of nickel; 10 to 30% of cobalt; 10 to 25% of chromium; and a balance which is iron and inevitable impurities.
