Claims10
In combination with a blood staining solution consisting essentially of Azure B and Eosin Y in methanolic solution, the improvement which comprises the presence of diethylamine hydrochloride in such solution.
A method for the preparation of a blood staining solution which comprises combining Eosin Y and diethylamine hydrochloride in methanol to form their methanolic solution and then adding Azure B to the solution to form a stabilized staining solution consisting essentially of the reaction product of Eosin Y and diethylamine hydrochloride and Azure B said diethylamine hydrochloride being present in an amount sufficient to reduce significantly the precipitation of Azure B and Eosin Y.
