Abstract
A method of treating pain in a patient through administering to the patient an effective amount of a compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein X.sub.1, X.sub.2, X.sub.3 and X.sub.4 are each, independently, hydrogen, halogen, NO.sub.2, CH.sub.3 O, CH.sub.3 or CF.sub.3 and R is OH, ONa or NH.sub.2.

A method of treating pain which comprises administering to a patient suffering from pain an effective dosage of a compound (I) to relieve said pain, said compound (I) having the formula ##STR4## wherein X.sub.1, X.sub.2, X.sub.3 and X.sub.4 are each, independently, hydrogen, halogen, NO.sub.2, CH.sub.3 O, CH.sub.3 or CF.sub.3 and
- R is OH, ONa or NH.sub.2.
