Abstract
A thin polypropylene film with improved surface impregnation properties for dielectric fluids is disclosed. The film has one predetermined textured surface consisting essentially of fibroids intertwined and overlapping, and coextensive and uniform over its continuous length and is characterized by a space factor of above about 5%.
Claims2
A tubular polypropylene stalk emanating from an extruder and passing through a section primarily temperature controlled prior to insulflation, said stalk having a skin layer at the outer surface of said stalk comprising an area of markedly increased density of spherulites of type III polypropylene crystals.
Dependencies are inferred from the claim text.
