Abstract
N-Methyl-N-silyl-carbamates of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 denotes hydrogen or unsubstituted or halogen-substituted alkyl of a maximum of 4 carbon atoms, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are identical or different and each denotes alkyl of a maximum of 4 carbon atoms, and R.sup.5 denotes alkyl of a maximum of 4 carbon atoms or phenyl, processes for their manufacture, and their use for combating pests.

An N-methyl-N-silyl-carbamate of the formula ##STR9## where R.sup.1 is chloromethyl, R.sup.2 is methyl or ethyl;
- R.sup.3 is methyl or ethyl;
- R.sup.4 is methyl, ethyl or propyl and R.sup.5 is methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl or phenyl.
2-(1-Methoxy-2-chloroethoxy)-phenyl-N-methyl-N-trimethylsilyl-carbamate.
