Abstract
A new class of chemical compounds and their process of preparation is described. These compounds have valuable properties as anti-diarrheal agents.

A compound of the formula:
- ##STR13## where:
- R.sub.2 and R.sub.6 may be the same or different and are:
- loweralkyl or halo;
- R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are hydrogen;
- R is hydrogen;
- R' and R" are hydrogen or a loweralkyl selected from the group consisting of methyl, ethyl, propyl and isopropyl;
- R.sub.n is hydrogen provided at least one of R' and R" is other than hydrogen;
- and
- the non-toxic acid addition salts thereof.
