Abstract
This invention relates to novel metal catalysts of a solid nonionic crosslinked resin having amine or phosphine borane adducts on or in which a reduced metal is precipitated, the method of producing said catalysts and their use in catalysis.
Claims3
A process for the preparation of hydrogenation catalysts which comprises contacting a platinum, palladium, rhodium or iridium containing aqueous or nonaqueous medium with a nonionic borane reducing resin which comprises a solid, crosslinked copolymer carbon backbone resin having a plurality of amine- or phosphine-borane adducts attached thereto, and separating the resultant metal-containg resin.
