Abstract
An additive represented by the following formula: ##STR1## in which R is a hydrocarbon radical having from about 10 to 20 carbon atoms and x is a value from 1 to 3, and a corrosion inhibited and detergent fuel composition containing such additive.
Claims11
A compound comprising an amino alkyl imidazoline derivative of a sarcosine compound represented by the following formula:
- ##STR6## where R is a hydrocarbyl radical having 10 to 20 carbon atoms and x has a value from 1 to 3.
A motor fuel composition comprising a mixture of hydrocarbons boiling in the gasoline boiling range containing an amino alkyl imidazoline derivative of a sarcosine compound represented by the formula:
- ##STR7## where R is a hydrocarbyl radical having 10 to 20 carbon atoms and x has a value from 1 to 3.
