Abstract
Enameling varnishes are made from particular polyarylquinoxaline resins; these resins comprise, in addition to arylquinoxaline groups, biphenylene or biquinoxalylene groups and their inherent viscosity at 30.degree. C. and 0.5 g/dl concentration in m-cresol is from 0.5 to 1.3 dl/g.
Claims26
A thermosetting polyarylquinoxaline which comprises inside the polymeric chain or at the ends thereof, in addition to arylquinoxaline recurrent units, at least one biphenylene or biquinoxalylene unit, and whose inherent viscosity, determined at 30.degree. C. at a concentration of 0.5 g/dl in m.cresol, is from 0.5 to 1.3 dl/g.
A polyarylquinoxaline according to claim 2, obtained by reacting the product of claim 10 with an aromatic orthodiamine.
