Abstract
Elastomers which are obtained by crosslinking an organopolysiloxane composition containing a diorganopolysiloxane, an organic peroxide and calcium hydroxide which has been treated with an organosilicon compound to impart hydrophobic properties thereto.

An organopolysiloxane composition which is capable of being crosslinked with an organic peroxide containing at least 0.1 percent by weight based on the weight of the composition of calcium hydroxide which has been treated with an organosilicon compound to impart hydrophobic properties thereto.
