Abstract
Described are cyclohexenemethanols and uses thereof in augmenting or enhancing the aroma of fabric softener articles.
Claims9
A fabric softener article comprising a non-woven cloth substrate and a substrate coating intimately admixed with a cyclic chemical compound having the structure:
- ##STR38## wherein R.sub.1 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and methyl;
- R.sub.2 is C.sub.3 -C.sub.5 alkyl or alkenyl;
- and R.sub.5 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 acyl and wherein one of the dashed lines is a carbon-carbon single bond and the other of the dashed lines is a carbon-carbon double bond.
