Break-up roller with card clothing for an open-end spinning frame comprising a base member, an inherently stable, exchangeable ring carrying the card clothing and being lockingly connected to said base member at a given location, said base member having surfaces each being substantially continuous and extended in one plane except for said given location, and a clamping element clampingly connecting said ring to said base member.
