Abstract
The compound of N,N',N"-trimethyl trithioisocyanurate and the novel compound N,N',N"-trimethyl 2-iminodithioisocyanurate have been found to be effective in protecting rice against Pyricylaria oryzae.

A method of preparing N,N',N"-trimethyl trithioisocyanurate by trimerization of methylisothiocyanate, wherein the trimerization is carried out in the presence of sodium hydride in a dipolar organic solvent.
