Abstract
Substituted 4-hydroxy-2,3-alkylene thiazolium salts are anti-secretory agents useful in the treatment of peptic ulcer disease.
Claims4
A compound of the formula:
- ##STR3## in which R.sup.1 is phenyl, halophenyl, alkylphenyl of 7 to 10 carbon atoms, nitrophenyl or aminophenyl;
- R.sup.2 is hydrogen or alkanoyl of 2 to 4 carbon atoms;
- Y is the anion of a pharmaceutically acceptable acid;
- and
- n is one of the integers 1 or 2.
