Abstract
The quality of the low frequency signals recovered by a playback stylus may be improved by removing non-electrode metal deposits. A stream slurry lapper with a slurry of alumina in water can be used.
Claims5
A method for improving the quality of the low frequency signals recovered by a video disc playback stylus having on one face of a dielectric support element a deposited conductive metal electrode which comprises the step of directing a suitable abrasive onto the dielectric support element so as to remove metal deposited on non-electrode surfaces.
