Abstract
The invention provides novel phenoxyalkylcarboxylic acids which are useful in therapy as metabolic regulators and in agriculture as selective herbicides.
Claims11
A compound of the formula:
- ##STR130## wherein R is a member selected from the group consisting of 4-chlorophenyl, 3-chlorophenyl, 4-bromophenyl, phenyl, 4-methoxyphenyl, 4-fluorophenyl, and 4-trifluoromethylphenyl;
- R" is a member selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl;
- and Y is a member selected from the group consisting of straight and branched C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 alkoxy.
