Abstract
This invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing as active ingredient an aryltrifluoroethanol, and a process for producing the same. These pharmaceutical compositions are useful for treating or alleviating pain, hyperpyretic conditions and/or inflammatory states.

A pharmaceutical composition incorporating as active ingredient an effective analgesic, antipyretic or anti-inflammatory amount of an aryltrifluoroethanol of the formula ##STR3## wherein n and n' are each 2;
- and
- Z" is oxygen;
- or a therapeutically compatible acid addition salt thereof;
- in admixture with a pharmaceutically-acceptable carrier or vehicle.
