Abstract
This invention relates to new compounds having the structure: ##STR1## wherein M is H, Na, K, Li, N(R).sub.3 H and R is H, lower alkyl or lower hydroxy alkyl and R.sub.1 is oxygen, sulfur, imino, lower alkylimino, cyanoimino and carbamoylimino moieties. The new compounds are useful as fluorescent greenish-yellow dyes for paper.

The compound having the structure:
- ##STR3## wherein M is H, Na, K, Li, N(R).sub.3 H and R is H, alkyl and lower hydroxalkyl and R.sub.1 is oxygen, sulfur, imino, lower alkylimino, cyanoimino and carbamoylimino.
