Abstract
Novel, crosslinked, unsaturated polymers which have properties better than those of known crosslinked, unsaturated polymers are produced by reaction of .beta.-aminocrotonic acid esters, nitriles or amides with polyisocyanates, at temperatures for example of between 50.degree. and 180.degree. C.

A process for producing crosslinked unsaturated polymers, which process comprises reacting monomeric or oligomeric .beta.-aminocrotonic acid esters or .beta.-aminocrotonic acid nitriles or .beta.-aminocrotonic acid amides with polyisocyanates, the composition of the reaction mixture being such that to one molecular group of the formula ##STR27## of the respective .beta.-aminocrotonic acid derivative there is at least one isocyanate group.
