Abstract
1-Phenoxy-2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-1-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-ethan-2-ones and -ols of the formula ##STR1## in which A is --C(O)-- or --CH(OH)--, X each independently is halogen, alkyl or optionally substituted phenyl, and n is 0, 1, 2 or 3, or a salt thereof, which possess fungicidal and antimicrobial properties rendering them useful in agriculture and pharmacy.

A 1-phenoxy-1-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-1-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-ethan-2-one or -ol of the formula ##STR19## in which A is --C(O)-- or --CH(OH)--,
- X each independently is halogen, alkyl with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, phenyl or halogen substituted phenyl, and
- n is 0, 1, 2 or 3,
- or a salt thereof.
