Abstract
This invention relates to substituted 1-phenyl-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1H-3-benzazepines. The compounds of this invention show neuroleptic, antidepressive and antiagressive activity.

A compound of the formula ##STR10## and the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof wherein R.sub.1 and R.sup.2 are members of the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl, methoxyalkyl, and hydroxy alkyl wherein the alkyl and alkoxy groups have 1 to 6 carbon atoms.
