Razor blade assembly with a removable blade cartridge

A razor blade assembly comprising a body portion having blade means permanently fixed therein, a first connecting means disposed on said body portion and adapted to engage a razor handle to form a pivotal connection therebetween, and a second connecting means disposed on said body portion and adapted to fixedly interconnect with mounting means on said razor handle, said first connecting means being disposed on a first portion of said body portion and said second connecting means being disposed on a second portion of said body portion, said first and second body portions being pivotally joined to each other, said first connecting means comprising a projection extending from an undersurface of said first portion of said body portion, and said second connecting means comprising rails defining opposed grooves, said projection extending between said rails and beyond a plane defined by said blade assembly rails.
