Abstract
This invention describes novel chemical compounds which are 1-amidino-3-phenylureas. The method of preparing these compounds and their pharmaceutical uses is also disclosed.

A compound of the formula ##STR6## where:
- R is hydrogen or loweralkyl;
- R.sub.2 is halo;
- R.sub.4 is hydrogen;
- R.sub.6 is halo;
- and or
- the non-toxic acid addition salts thereof.
