Claims4
A method for producing L-lysine by fermentation which comprises culturing a mutant of the genus Brevibacterium or Corynebacterium in a culture medium until L-lysine is accumulated in the culture medium and recovering the L-lysine so accumulated, said mutant being sensitive to fluoropyruvic acid capable of producing L-lysine and being selected from the class consisting of Brevibacterium lactofermentum NRRL B-11471, Corynebacterium acetoglutamicum NRRL B-11473, and Brevibacterium flavum NRRL B-11475.
