Abstract
Vinylstannyl derivatives and the processes for their conversion to vinyliodides, vinylbromides and vinyllithium reagents. The vinylstannyl, vinyliodides, vinylbromide derivatives and vinyllithiums are useful as intermediates for the preparation of prostaglandin analogs.
Claims21
A compound of the formula:
- ##STR8## wherein R.sub.1 is selected from the group consisting of C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkyl;
- R is selected from the group consisting of ##STR9## wherein R.sub.5 is selected from the group consisting of C.sub.4 -C.sub.7 alkyl, R.sub.6 is selected from the group consisting of C.sub.5 -C.sub.6 alkyl R.sub.7 is selected from the group consisting of C.sub.2 -C.sub.5 alkyl, R.sub.8 is methyl or ethyl, R.sub.10 is selected from the group consisting of C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, R.sub.11 is selected from the group consisting of C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkyl, benzyl, 2-butyne and 2-butene, n is the integer 1 or 2, p is the integer 1 or 2, and q is the integer 1 or 2.
A compound of the formula ##STR10## wherein R.sub.1 is selected from the group cinsisting of C.sub.1 to C.sub.5 alkyl;
- R is selected from the group consisting of ##STR11## wherein R.sub.6 ' is selected from the group consisting of C.sub.3 to C.sub.6 alkyl, R.sub.6 " is selected from the group consisting of C.sub.4 to C.sub.6 alkyl and R.sub.8 is methyl or ethyl.
