Respiratory control

A respiratory control comprising,

• envelope means defining a mouthpiece adapted to be inserted inside the mouth cavity and having a bore extending therethrough with first and second open ends, said bore being tapered from said first open end to said second open end, said first open end adapted to be located near the entrance to the mouth cavity and said second open end being adapted to be located in the back or throat portion of the mouth cavity;
• cartridge means for insertion in said air cavity to divide said bore into an air inhalation corridor for the flow of air into the person's throat and an exhalation corridor for the flow of air from the person's mouth;
• filtering means in said inhale corridor for filtering the air entering the mouth cavity;
• and
• valve means for preventing the exhale air flow from entering the inhale air corridor to maintain the filtering material clean of exhaled contaminated air and prevent inhaled air from passing through the exhale corridor and in combination keep the inhaled air controlled.

A mouthpiece for respiratory control adapted to be used with a filtering means comprising,

• envelope means defining a mouthpiece adapted to be inserted inside the mouth cavity and having a bore extending therethrough with first and second open ends, said bore being tapered from said first open end to said second open end, said first open end adapted to be located near the entrance to the mouth cavity and said second open end being adapted to be located in the back or throat portion of the mouth cavity,
• filtering means in said bore defining means dividing said bore into an air inhalation corridor for the flow of air into the person's throat and an exhalation corridor for the flow of air from the person's mouth, said filtering means being located in said inhalation corridor,
• valve means for preventing the exhale air flow from entering the inhale air corridor to maintain the filtering material clean of exhaled contaminated air and prevent inhaled air from passing through the exhale corridor and in combination keep the inhaled air controlled,
• wall means extending outwardly from said first opening and generally perpendicular to said bore to define a safety means.
