Abstract
This disclosure describes 4-[(unsaturated or cyclopropylated alkyl)amino]benzoic acids and derivatives useful as hypolipidemic and antiatherosclerotic agents.
Claims6
A compound of the formula:
- ##STR11## wherein R.sub.7 is hydrogen, or a loweralkyl group;
- R.sub.11 is hydrogen or a C.sub.1 to C.sub.15 alkyl group unsubstituted or substituted with at least one methyl group;
- R.sub.10 is hydrogen methyl;
- X is a bond or a C.sub.1 to C.sub.15 branched or unbranched alkylene group unsubstituted or substituted with at least one methyl group;
- and R is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen or methyl and the pharmaceutically acceptable non-toxic acid-addition and cationic salts thereof.
