The method of treating diabetic nephropathy in a human patient, which comprises administering to said patient an effective amount of N-(2-amino-3,5-dibromo-benzyl)-N-methyl-cyclohexylamine or a non-toxic, pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
