Insecticidal and nematicidal carbamates

A compound of the formula:

• ##STR36## wherein R.sub.1 is ##STR37## R.sub.2 is ##STR38## phenyl, or phenyl substituted with one of (a) to (g), (a) 1-3 methyl groups, (b) C.sub.3 -C.sub.5 branched alkyl, (c) methylthio, (d) dimethylamino, (e) diallylamino, (f) R.sub.9 SCH.sub.2 wherein R.sub.9 is methyl or ethyl, (g) (CH.sub.3).sub.2 NCH.dbd.N;
• X is ##STR39## or CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 A.sub.3 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 ;
• R.sub.3 is alkenyl, alkynyl of three or four carbons, or alkyl of one to four carbons;
• R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are independently alkyl of one to four carbons, CH.sub.3 O, or cycloalkyl of three to five carbons or R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are taken together to form an alkylene bridge of four to six carbons;
• provided that R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 contain a total of not more than seven carbons and that R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are not both simultaneously OCH.sub.3 or both cycloalkyl;
• R.sub.6 is hydrogen or methyl;
• R.sub.7 is alkyl of 1-4 carbons;
• and
• A.sub.1, A.sub.2 and A.sub.3 are independently oxygen or sulfur.
