Abstract
Processes and compositions are described for the use in perfume aroma augmenting, modifying, altering and enhancing compositions and as perfume, cologne and perfumed article aroma imparting materials of mixtures of 3-methyl-1-phenyl-pentanol-5 and one or more butanoyl cyclohexane derivatives.

A fabric softening article of manufacture comprising a non-woven cloth substrate and coated thereon a substrate coating and coated on the substrate coating an outer coating, said outer coating comprising a perfume composition, said perfume composition comprising a mixture consisting essentially of 3-methyl-1-phenylpentanol-5 or stereoisomer thereof having a structure selected from the group consisting of:
- ##STR15## and intimately admixed therewith a cyclohexylbutenone derivative having the structure:
- ##STR16## wherein one or two of the dashed lines is a carbon-carbon double bond and the other of the dashed lines is a carbon-carbon single bond with the proviso that when two of the dashed lines are carbon-carbon double bonds said carbon-carbon double bonds are conjugated.
