Abstract
This disclosure describes substituted 1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines and substituted 1,2,4-triazolo[4,3-a]pyrimidines which possess anxiolytic activity.
Claims16
A compound consisting of the formula:
- ##STR15## wherein --A.dbd.B-- is selected from the group consisting of ##STR16## R.sub.1 selected from the group consisting of chloro, fluoro, trifluoromethyl, lower alkoxy (C.sub.1 -C.sub.3) and R.sub.2 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and lower alkyl (C.sub.1 -C.sub.3).
The compound in accordance with claim 1, 7-(m-trifluoromethylphenyl)-1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine.
The compound in accordance with claim 1, 6-(p-fluorophenyl)-2-methyl-1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine.
The compound in accordance with claim 1, 6-(p-fluorophenyl)-3-methyl-1,2,4-triazolo[4,3-a]pyrimidine.
The compound in accordance with claim 1, 6-(o-chlorophenyl)-1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine.
The compound in accordance with claim 1, 7-(o-fluorophenyl)-1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine.
