Abstract
Disclosed are tris(allyl carbonate) monomers and polymers made therefrom.
Claims2
A solid polymerizate of an allyl carbonate monomer having the formula:
- ##STR18## where the l.sub.n 's are integers from 0 to 5, the sum of the l.sub.n 's is at least 2, m is 4 or 5, n is greater than 2 and R is chosen from the group consisting of ##STR19## where R.sub.A is chosen from the group consisting of --H, --CH.sub.3, --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.3, --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.3, and --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.3.
A solid polymerizate of an allyl carbonate monomer having the formula:
- ##STR20## where the l.sub.n 's are integers from 0 to 5, the sum of the l.sub.n 's is at least 2, X is --H or --CH.sub.3, n is greater than 2 and R is chosen from the group consisting of ##STR21## where R.sub.A is chosen from the group consisting of --H, --CH.sub.3, --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.3, --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.3, and --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.3.
