Abstract
Emulsion pressure-sensitive adhesives including a carboxylated styrene-butadiene polymer emulsion and an emulsified tackifying resin are described.
Claims12
An emulsion pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprising:
- (a) an aqueous emulsion having from about 40 to about 50 percent by weight on a dry basis of carboxylated styrene butadiene rubber polymer having a bound styrene content of less than about 50 percent and at least about 0.5 percent carboxylation;
- and
- (b) an aqueous emulsion having from about 50 to about 60 percent by weight on a dry basis of tackifying resin.
