Abstract
A new gelatine explosive composition is disclosed comprising mixtures of nitric esters, ortho-nitro-toluene, blasting soluble nitrocotton, oxidizing salts, fuels and at least one dispersing agent. Said gelatine explosive composition is markedly reduced in the quantities of liquid nitric esters and blasting soluble nitrocotton content.

In a gelatin explosive composition with a marked reduction in the quantities of liquid nitric esters and blasting soluble nitrocotton content, comprising mixtures of liquid nitric esters, blasting soluble nitrocotton, oxidizing salts and fuels, the improved gelatin explosive composition containing at least one dispersing agent.
