Abstract
Novel cyclopentane derivatives of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.4 each represents an alkyl group and R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 each represents a hydrogen atom or alkyl group, are useful as aroma chemicals.
Claims3
A cyclopentane derivative according to the formula:
- ##STR4## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.4 each represents an alkyl group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms;
- and R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 each represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
3-(2,3-dimethyl-3-hydroxycyclopentyl)butanal.
