A photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing a development inhibitor releasing photographic coupler represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4, which can be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic residue, an aromatic residue or a heterocyclic residue; and X represents a triazole ring which is released upon reaction of the coupler with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent and which exhibits development inhibiting effects; wherein the triazole ring is connected to the coupling position of the coupler through the nitrogen atom at the 1-position of the triazole ring.
A photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing a development inhibitor releasing photographic coupler represented by the following general formula (I):
An aqueous alkaline developing solution containing an aromatic primary amino developing agent and a development inhibitor releasing photographic coupler represented by the following general formula (I):
A method of forming images comprising developing an imagewise exposed photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer in the presence of a development inhibitor releasing photographic coupler represented by the following general formula (I):
