Abstract
Plant holder formed of flexible material and having a pocket for a plant, a water reservoir, and straps for hanging the device from a curtain rod or other suitable support.
Claims2
A plant holder for hanging a plant from a horizontally extending support, comprising:
- first and second superposed sheets of flexible material each including a body portion and a pair of strap portions extending upwardly from the upper margins of the body portions;
- means joining the sheets together continuously along the lower and side margins of the body portions and along the outer side margins of the strap portions to points spaced a predetermined distance below the upper margins of the strap portions;
- means joining the sheets together along a line intermediate the upper and lower margins of the body portions to form a pocket for holding the plant, a water reservoir below the pocket and an opening between the pocket and reservoir;
- and a wick of hydroponic material extending through the opening and into the reservoir and pocket;
- the sheets being joined together along the upper margins of the strap portions to form loops for receiving the support.
