Abstract
Aromatic acetic acid derivatives having a sulfur atom at the alpha-position, and a process for their preparation. Useful drugs can be produced from these derivatives.

Novel acetic acid derivative having a sulfur atom at the .alpha.-position which are expressed by the formula ##STR14## wherein R.sup.0 represents thienyl or furyl R represents alkyl;
- R represents hydrogen or alkyl;
- and n is an integer of 0, 1 or 2.
