Abstract
A coated peroxygen compound having improved storage stability, said peroxygen being coated with about 0.1 to about 3.0 weight percent of a polyethylene glycol product having an average molecular weight greater than about 200.
Claims3
In a process in which a particulate peroxygen compound, selected from the group consisting of sodium carbonate peroxide, sodium perborate and mixtures thereof, is coated with a stabilizing agent, the improvement which comprises mixing the particulate peroxygen with about 0.1 to about 3.0 weight percent of a polyethylene glycol having an average molecular weight of from 300 to 1,500 and recovering a stabilized, polyethylene glycol-coated peroxygen compound.
