Abstract
Fungi, mites and mite eggs are killed by applying thereto sulfonamides of the formula ##STR1## wherein R and R.sup.1 individually are alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, carbamylalkyl, or alkoxycarbonylalkyl and R.sup.2 is haloalkyl, with the proviso that one R or R.sup.1 group is carbamylalkyl or alkoxycarbonylalkyl.

A compound of the formula ##STR20## wherein R is phenyl substituted with up to 2 of the same or different substituents selected from fluoro, chloro, bromo, iodo, trifluoromethyl, trichloromethyl, tribromomethyl, tribromomethyl or alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms;
- R.sup.1 is alkoxycarbonylalkyl of 2 to 6 carbon atoms;
- and R.sup.2 is alkyl of 1 to 2 carbon atoms and of 1 to 5 fluoro, chloro, bromo or iodo atoms.
