The invention relates to a process for the production of dyed filaments from aromatic polyamides which are not modified with acid or basic groups.

A process for the production of dyed filaments of aromatic polyamides which comprises continuously dyeing wet-spun gel filaments of an aromatic polyamide which is not modified with acid or basic groups before, during, or after stretching, in an aqueous bath containing at least one cationic or anionic water-soluble dye in dissolved form.
