Abstract
The wire pointing machine comprises two grooved rolls which are supported in a gear ring pivotable about a horizontal axis. Teeth are provided on end trunnions of the grooved rolls which mesh with a common gear rack which is directly powerdriven.

A wire pointing machine having two grooved rolls, characterised in that the two grooved rolls are supported in a gear ring which can be pivoted about a horizontal axis, teeth being provided on end trunnions of the grooved rolls which mesh with a common gear rack which is directly powerdriven.
