Abstract
2-Omega-aminoalkoxydiphenyls are prepared and found useful as pharmaceutical agents, particularly as antidepressants.

A compound having the formula (I):
- ##STR9## wherein R is selected from the group consisting of amino, C.sub.1 - C.sub.5 alkylamino and C.sub.2 - C.sub.6 dialkylamino;
- n is 4;
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
