Abstract
Improved working up of the waste from an isomerization reaction of dichlorobutene by precipitating the copper catalyst used in said process by adding a polar solvent and removing the resulting precipitate by filtration.
Claims9
A process for working up a liquid copper complex-containing catalyst waste stream from the isomerization reaction of dichlorobutene wherein the copper complex dissolved in dichlorobutene is precipitated at a temperature of from 0.degree. to 250.degree. C by the addition of an apolar solvent to the waste stream and said precipitated copper complex is recovered by filtration.
