Abstract
A photosensitive material for electrophotography which comprises a conductive support and two or more superimposed photosensitive layers where each layer comprises photoconductive power and a binder, the particle size of the photoconductive powder in an upper layer being greater than that in a lower layer. Both high photosensitivity and high resistance to electrical impact are imparted to the photosensitive material.
Claims5
A photosensitive article for electrography having a conductive substrate and a coating of a single layer of photosensitive material comprising photoconductive powder and a binder, the particle size of said photoconductive powder adjacent to the surface of the coating in contact with the substrate being smaller than 0.5.mu. and the particle size of said photoconductive powder adjacent to the outer surface of the article opposite said substrate being at least 0.5.mu..
