Abstract
Rapid curing polyepoxide compositions comprise (1) a polyepoxide, and (2) a curing composition comprising (a) a liquid organic dibasic acid and (b) a tertiary amine such as benzyldimethylamine.
Claims4
A heat-curable composition comprising (1) 100 parts by weight of a polyepoxide processing more than one 1,2-epoxide group and (2) from 20 to 60 parts by weight of a curing composition comprising (a) 100 parts by weight of a liquid organic dicarboxylic acid of the general formula ##STR4## wherein R.sub.1 is an alkyl group of up to about 10 carbon atoms and R.sub.2 is an alkylene group of up to 12 carbon atoms and (b) from about 2 to 10 parts by weight of a tertiary amine selected from the group consisting of benzyldimethylamine, tridimethyl amino methyl phenols, and salts thereof.
