Abstract
New imidazolidinedione compounds of the formula ##STR1## in which R is chlorine, alkyl of 1 or 2 carbon atoms or chloroalkyl of 1 or 2 carbon atoms and 1 to 5 chlorine atoms Are outstandingly effective as plant growth regulants and have surprisingly been found to exhibit substantially greater activity than conventional materials of this type.

Imidazolidinedione compound of the formula ##STR19## wherein R is chlorine, alkyl of from 1 or 2 carbon atoms or chloroalkyl of from 1 or 2 carbon atoms and 1 to 5 chlorine atoms.
