A dried and stabilized prostaglandin composition containing a prostaglandin E group compound with calcium lactate and/or amylopectin, and a stabilized pharmaceutical preparation for practical administration prepared from the said composition.

A stabilized prostaglandin composition comprising an active prostaglandin E group compound with an effective amount of calcium lactate and/or an effective amount of amylopectin.
Process for the preparation of a stabilized prostaglandin composition which comprises dissolving a prostaglandin E group compound in water, organic solvent or a mixture thereof together with calcium lactate and/or amylopectin, and drying the solution to form a dry powder.
