Abstract
A stabilized polycarbonate composition comprising in admixture an aromatic carbonate polymer and a stabilizing amount of a cyclic diphosphite. The composition may additionally contain co-stabilizers such as epoxides or silanes.

A stabilized polycarbonate composition comprising in admixture, an aromatic carbonate polymer and a stabilizing amount of a cyclic diphosphite characterized by the following general formula:
- ##STR6## wherein X is selected from the group consisting of lower alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms;
- aryl, alkaryl and aralkyl of 6 to 20 carbon atoms and halogen.
